Alzheimer

Some years ago, when I asked my father's neurologist about my chances of contracting Alzheimer , he said 50/50. Could you elaborate ? I'm 62 yrs old , my father died of Alzheimer @ age 75 and my mother died from her 3rd stroke @ age 92. Thank you

Alzheimer is also a genetically heredited  disease. your chances is fifty percent, it is because of the dominant or the recessive gene. I am not sure but there are certain methods of gene sequencing to determine the gene sequence.
