Chance of a second aneurysm rupturing?

My fiancé had a ruptured aneurysm four years ago, luckily he only suffered a few mild symptoms. One week ago the found a 2.4 mill aneurysm that is very close to the last one that ruptured and been clipped, the doc made it seem like no big deal! Just yearly scans to see if any growth. During this angiogram they Also found a buldge in his neck artery which would explain his severe daily neck pain. But they have not told use what it is yet? We are very concerned! Any words to help???)
