Burning feelings is one of the main symptoms to lyme
months ago, burning feet started with me specially at night, i have to cool them by water for sometime to sleep
now, also at night i feel the same but beside my whole body ,so i have to set in front of air condition at least 15 minutes to feel cold enough to sleep
during that, i feel heat radiation comes out of my upper half during cooling
sometimes i use ice cubes to rub radiating parts
i went to the doctor several times, making complete blood picture and every thing is ok and it go worth if the electricity goes off so no sleep even i am very tired
Hi. I have been under tremendous stress for the past 2 months. About 3 weeks ago, I experienced my first anxiety attack. With it came the burning sensations. They were on my shoulders, the arm that I was laying on and back. I thought it might have to do with my fear, so I made myself calm down. After the attack, they subsided. However, I am still stressed everyday, and for no reason that I can think of, I will feel something in one or sometimes both arms that feels like a burning or a pinching. It is very weird! I am trying to learn more about anxiety and it's symptoms and the treatment. The important thing to know (if it is from anxiety) is to not be afraid of it. This is all mental and behavioural. It's hard to do, but it is the only way. Obsessing over it, just makes it worse.
Hope I helped-
Karly
I also get burning sensations in my face, neck, chest, and back. My doctor said that it was something I was alergic to. I am not sure yet if thats is 100% true, but when I changed my laundry soap it got better, until I had a panic attack to day. When I called my doctor she said that panic attacks can mimic things that scare you. My panic attacks started when I started getting the burning, so maybe she is right. Has she changed soaps lately?
Sounds serious. If all those specialists were not able to help, I'm not sure what you will learn from people on this forum. But try putting your post on the "Ask a Doctor" forum and see what happens there.
