Scared of the thought of an oncoming stroke!!! :(

i'm not quite sure how to explain this, i'm just feeling really worried and generally bothered by what i've noticed.

I cant stop looking at my face in the mirror, what i see is that my right eye and right side of my mouth (near the lips) looks drooped, like almost out of place!, people have noticed and asked do i have lazy eye or somethin. My right eye looks lower than the other, and the right side of the lips looks the same even when i smile its slightly at a direction.

I checked up online, probably shouldnt of, first things that popped up were "stroke, bells palsy, brain tumor etc etc", and now i'm stuck fretting and panicing, i'd hate the thought that a stroke would happen to me at my age.

i know i've always had a slight droop on my lip for years on end, and i suffered a squint and lazy eye when i was a kid but i'm just uncertain, i dont know what to think its not helping my attacks of panic and depression!

I'm still on 20mg of citalopram, get mild headaches from time to time and have some rickity moments of unsteadyness.

Help or advice!!

Looking up things on symptom sites IS a bit of a "panic response." But what we are searching for is reassurance that we DON'T have whatever our "fear de jour" is. Unfortunately for those of us with anxiety/panic issues, even if we don't have a single symptom, we end up convincing ourselves we do, we just somehow "missed" that daily gushing nosebleed or regular fainting spells while we're driving or that we've totally lost the use of our hands. That is meant to be a bit funny, but because I've been there, I know the terrible power of our minds and what it can make us believe.
Take care and I WILL be watching for your post about what the docs say!
Peace

I suggest you see a neurologist as soon as possible. Considering your age, it's not very likely to be a stroke, but as the above poster stated, the earlier you have something diagnosed, the more they can do to correct it.
And please stay off the symptom sites!! The only "good" those damn sites do is make your doctors bank account even fatter.
Let us know what they find out, OK?
I'm sure you'll be fine, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.
Peace
