I do agree with you birdie ones' mind along with anxiety can take your brain places it just shouldn't go. There are a couple of things that anxiety can cause including chest pain from GERD that can create discomfort in the chest. Yet once again the anxiety often makes the symptoms seem a lot worse. When anxiety strikes, which in my case is all the time, it makes you tense up all your upper abdominal muscles. This puts a strain on your chest muscles up to your neck. This has become a big problem for me. So jave I'm sure your Doctor is aware of GERD you might want to ask him or her about these types of conditions. Like birdie posted, much of the times you might have these dizzy spells, they do come from the thoughts you might have and a constant worrisome and overactive mind. Easy to say but that is the problem with anxiety it a nut shell. Hope this helps. It helps me to share. GODD LUCK jave. Also, I  would listen to the little "birdie", there is help to be found here. Keep posting.

The feeling is just something in your head. You don't have a disease that hurts your chest (or makes you dizzy) when you sit and no one else has that either,so it doesn't exist. Think about it - what is the connection between your bum on a chair and your chest which is not connected.

The disease you think you have is just something you are imagining because you are over-analyzing your body and thinking there are some new things going on, - you likely felt these things before but ignored them because you knew there was nothing wrong. If you can accept that you will stop worrying and be on the path to peace, but if you keep looking for clues then there will be no end to your worrying because everyone, including you, has twitches, ouches, itch, or maybe a burning feeling every once in a while in the day - they are meaningless if doc says there is nothing wrong.
