I am absolutely terrified

I have missed work today and yesterday because of my anxiety. This is not the first time, but it has been a while. My boss called my cell phone this morning at around 10:30 and I did not answer. I am terrified as to what is going to happen tomorrow. My psychiatrist's office called today and increased my meds, so I hope it helps,

I did. I always do.

I just called the doctor's office again because I think this 0.5mg of klonopin is actually making things worse. He had me on clorazepate but I asked to switch because it makes me groggy, but I'd rather be groggy than have this anxiety.

Did you call your boss initially to tell him / her that you would not be in today?  I understand missing work is difficult, but you have to at least let your employer know when you aren't going to be coming in, or it can be grounds for termination.  You can probably get your psychiatrist to write a doctor's note for you, supporting that you haven't been feeling well.  I feel for you because I ended up quitting my job because of anxiety, but at the very least you need to let them know when you're not coming in.

I hope the increase in meds work for you. It's rough, I'm lucky I own my own business some days I have to force myself out of bed, I can work at my own pace though!! Don't stress about tomorrow. I know it's hard to talk about your anxiety with people that don't understand. Does your boss know about your anxiety?
