Is excessive libido and masturbation related to anxiety? Is there a natural medicine for it?

Is it possible the excessive masturbation is related to anxiety?
I have started suffering from both about the same time and for this reason I thought they could be related. I could find ways to manage anxiety (without recurring to medicines), but they haven't decreased my libido. Since my anxiety is under control without medicines, I am thinking of some natural medicine (if there something effective to this isssue). Do you think that Serelax or other natural medicine could address excessive masturbation?

How old are you and what do you consider "excessive" masturbation?
If masturbating helps relieve your anxiety without resorting to medication, I see that as a win-win solution. But obviously this bothers you since you refer to it as "suffering."
There may be a medication out there that will slow your libido down a bit, but if there is, I've never heard of it. I know they give some sort of medication to rapists and pedophiles that is basically "chemical castration." I'm quit sure you don't need THAT!
If you could repost with answers to my two questions, that would be of help for us to help you.

I'm 30yo. By "excessive masturbation", I meant 6 times daily. It doesn't help with anxiety; it has started some years ago along with anxiety (for this reason I thought they could have been related). I said I "suffer" from this because the urges come many times a day out of nowhere.

A diligent routine meditation has got me a long way through controlling anxiety. But "excessive masturbation" hasn't disappeared since then.

Since there was no need for medicines for anxiety so far, I was wondering if there is a natural alternative to this other condition.

I really have no idea if masturbating 6 times a day is excessive or not. It would be for ME, but that's me. Are you in a relationship? Is it sexual? If it is and you are still masturbating 6 times a day, then you either have an amazing sex drive or you could have a hormone imbalance. If your body is producing too much testosterone, that could be why you are ramped up all the time. I would suggest seeing a urologist who will test your hormone levels. I don't know if there is anything "natural" to help with this or not. You could go to our Alternative Medicine Forum and talk with the folks there.
Since anxiety is a mental/psychological/emotional issue, meditation alone can no doubt help control it. But if your body has an imbalance, that's a physical issue and no amount of meditation will fix it.
Perhaps an option for you would be to see a Natureopathic doctor.
Please repost if you can't find an answer and we'll try again.

You are untypical of people on meds. Loss of libido's the usual case. If you find your condition distressing then seek qualified help ~ stick to that instead of untested 'remedies'. A TV programme recently discussed problems like yours ~ those affected had no satisfaction from their enhanced sex-drive. ~Such a shame that it's that way.As my libido could do with an excessive boost I was uninterested in the med/methods of reducing libido! Help's out there, Wish you luck.
