Psychological disturbances

Hi, I am not sure if this is a form of anxiety but sometimes I get a strange feeling in my head then I start day dreaming but it is unwanted, Normally daydreaming is evoked when boredom ensues. I have a thyroid disorder too but I am hoping this is not a symptomatic part of this. My question is what is this anxiety and how can I be cured from it?

Anxiety comes from worrying and too much stress in your life, sometimes you feel anxious, nervous, you feel depressed, can't sleep sometimes, it can lead to anxiety attacks that feel like a heart attack. You hyperventilate your heart starts to race your arm and or chest up to your jaw get tingling and you feel a squeezing sensation from your rib cage to your upper chest. Anxiety can make you feel hyper also from the feeling of anxiousness. If you stop taking thyroid medication it can make your anxiety worse. If you stop taking your medication all your bodily functions slow down, but I am sure you know about the thyroid function if it's hyperthyroid or hypothyroid. racing thoughts or unwanted thoughts could be a sign of a mental disorder but than again the thyroid gland can do alot of wierd things to your body if it is not controlled. I have Hypothyroid and Anxiety and I am Bipolar. But it doesn't mean you have the same thing.

Your more than likely right coz I exhibit most symptoms that makes ADD more likely, but if that is the case then I've had this neurological disorder since childhood! I don't think I will seek further diagnosis as I have very good self-management techniques!

Doesn't really sound like anxiety but I could be wrong.  Sounds more like ADD or something.

Hi, Many thanks for your post, something is not right and I need to address it or it could get worse, I'm a male in my late thirties from England, I think it did all start or run parallel with my hypo thyroid disorder six years ago, I've only been treated for just over a year with the optimum dose albeit my head problems is getting bad, I think the anxiety gets worse post alcohol consumption...perhaps this is a contributing factor but I'm within the recommendan units
