Hey hang in there! Yes I'm right here with you. Anxiety can cause crazy physical symptoms. I've been diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety. I've heard anxiety and depression often run hand in hand. One time I actually felt something pop in my chest and got cold tingly rushes then seized up with my eyes closing up and face twitching I was rushed to the E.R. only for them to tell me it was anxiety!!! I've had numerous Ekg's and chest X-rays. It's like the results barely give me any reassurance because the overwhelming feeling of doom;like there is no way around it that I might die soon is just to strong to ignore and believe the results. I to am always living in constant fear of my heart or fearing some underlying undiagnosed disease.I'm scared to sleep at night and have to just try and let go and take a 'Sleep of Faith" on a regular basis. Hang in there you are not alone.
I've been through all this several times. 1. Yes, believe it, anxiety can cause all manner of physiological symptoms from gut ache to heart palpitations.2. These can occur and anxiety seize you with no apparent cause, no looming problem. I'ts GeneralAnxietyDisorder.3. For me, low dose .25 or .50 alprazolam relieves but does not cure these symptoms, so I take it. 4. JUST KEEP THE DOSE LOW and take AS NEEDED is what i have been advised.so as not to get addicted.
same here, but they never tell me it's anxiety... they pretty much just brush it off. One (bad) Doctor said I am just sensitive and aware of my body and that some people are like that. Also, I have extreme insomnia, so I wonder if that's why I have these problems
Hey hun. So sorry for what you are going thru.
Yes I have the samething. Fearing what could happen and if its something wrong with my heart. I have been they ask test also xray blood stress test ekg all that it they say I'm fine. But how could you accept that when you feel like this..
You are not alone. This can be very hard to deal with. I'm really not sure what to tell you other then try to relax and stay calm. I went on this web site the other say that said the more you focus on your symptoms the more they are there and its hard to not focus on something when thou feel so strange and its always there.
Have you sr.a therapist?? The one thing I can tell you is try to calm down and relax it's something that could take a while to go a away. I have been disabused with panic and anxiety attacks and it's hard to get over it ashen it's always there.
Try to stay strong and keep moving in life don't let this stop you. You are not alone..
How you can start to feel better..
