Vision Question

This morning when I went to work I did not feel too bad not to much anxiety but then all of a sudden I started to look around and it felt like I was going blind, it felt like I looked into a bright light and I was seeing spots if that makes sense, It only lasted for about 15 20 minutes or so but it was scary because it felt like I was loosing my vision. Could this be anxiety? After I had that my eyes really started to hurt when I moved them and then I got a headache soon after the spots stopped. I am just hoping that this is anxiety and nothing more. Please help. I do believe though that I have a bug or something as well because I have been sick to my stomach all day so I was wondering if that could have anything to do with it too.

I totally agree with what was just said, I hate feeling so crumby all the time!! But it is interesting how our minds cause this and cause us to feel this way, an how powerful the brain is..
I to have had vision problems, sometimes during an attack but more commonly just out of the blue or in general.. I get blurry vision, unfocused, and exrreamly sensitive to light!! I have to keep the lights adjusted just right in my house, and wear sunslasses anytime I go outside.. Sometimes even at night because the bright lights on cars and traffic lights and glares makes it worse. I to get headaches don't think they are migraines but very sparatically like sometimes they last just a few seconds and other times days so I dunno... Anxiety is a very powerful thing I will second that anyday!!!

its really is amazing how anxiety can give you symptoms that effect like every square inch of your body..as much as i hate it, it kinda fascinates me just how powerful the mind is

You can have an atypical migraine in which you could have no headache at all.  Mostly, though, if you are having visual disturbances (blur, trouble focusing), its probably caused by the anxiety or the anxiety meds.

my anxiety always gives me weird visual disturbances, alot of times everything seems like its bright and high definition and then it dims sometimes, its weird, eye doctor said eyes were fine, so i just assume its my anxiety..you mention the aura with migraines, is it possible to have the aura and not have the migraine headache part?

It sounds like you were having a migraine type headache.  Migraines can be preceded by visual aura.  Sometimes people will see spots, halos around lights or even lights flickering.  Also, migraines can cause you to feel ill (nausea, stomach ache).  Sounds like you had a migraine.
