I doubt the pain in your jaw is lockjaw, more commonly known as tetanus. Tetanus requires an open wound to enter the body, so if you have no wounds, you do not have tetanus. Do you know when your last tetanus shot was? They are good for approximately 10 years. You would also have other serious symptoms which do not include some minor jaw pain when sneezing.
You do know I'm not a doctor, right? So this is NOT a diagnosis, but it's possible, and in my humble opinion and experience, more likely to be related to TMJ. (Temporomandibular joint disorder) This is very often caused by clenching or grinding our teeth, usually during sleep, but often while awake as well. (I am a very BAD teeth clencher!) Left undiagnosed and untreated, this can eventually lead to joint damage, sometimes very severe, but often the first clue is a sore, stiff jaw, especially in the morning, pain when we yawn or try to open our mouths wide. Sneezing could conceivably cause pain. I would suggest a visit to your dentist who can X-ray your TM joint and see if there is damage. Most often, just looking at your teeth can tell him/her if your a grinder or a clencher. Mouth guards worn during sleep can eliminate the pain. Being aware of the habit and correcting it during the day soon becomes a habit itself.
