I had this and it was quite severe. My vision also was messed up, like when I look at a person I see only half of his face. Well that was 15 years ago when my panic and anxiety started and went away with AD. I had 2 CT scant years later which were normal.
I have this and I am in the process of getting the testing done for small fiber neuropathy. I have had this for 7 years.
"What are we missing here" is a BIG medical question and has been for years. As the surgeon once said, "Now where did I put that hemostat?" Kidding aside, have a look under the Healthpages at upper right, and go to FAQs where you will find a LONG list of anxiety and panic related symptoms.
Bear in mind that while anxiety has been associated with all those symptoms, not all or not even any one nceessarily means there is anxiety -it could be something else. Keep hammering away at the docs until you feel that everything has been considered. Especially for new situations, a second opinion is by no means out of the question. Its YOUR life.
i have the same feeling when in anxiety my side of face gets numb and tingling so do my ears so its a anxiety thing, if you had a mri and nothing showed up your brain is fine.
an anurysm would have been detected by mri. have you heard of bell's palsy? temporary paralysis of a facial nerve. not serious and often stress related.
