does anxiety create pains

i am 21 year old male and for the last year for some reason i keep thinking ive got all kind of illness.
what im asking is this anxiety. I have been to my gp and ive had a check up and he says im fine but i still keep getting pulpatations, chest pains and also feel dizzy at times can anyone please try give me an answer

Thank you Edith. Nice of you to mention that post. Here it is again. Copy and paste is a good thing.


Anxiety can cause the mind the believe you are feeling pain. In other words if you feel a twinge around the heart area and start to focus in on that, it will get worse the more you worry about it. The pain is as real as it gets. I'm not saying it is not. But if you had of felt that twinge and thought nothing about it, there would be no pain.

The only other pain may be muscular pain because we go on guard when anxiety kicks in. Like a cat, you ever see one the way it goes when it senses danger. We might tighten all our muscles. More a protection instinct from the brain. Fearing some kind of danger is about to occur.

Check out the question that I asked  "anxiety and pain" Sept 5th. Mr Green gave me a great answer to that question. Read Mr Green answer it was very informative and helpful for me.
