Head Shaking

Whenever I feel like I'm in a pressure situation or making eye-contact with someone, i sometimes will get a little quick "no-no" head shake. I had a bad panic attack about a year ago, and if i get black out drunk i will definitely feel more of that head shake the next couple days. Also, i had a bad panic attack when i started drinking one cup of coffee for about 2 straight weeks. I've been off caffeine now for about 3 months, i feel like its gradually getting better. any thoughts or suggestions? I've always been a very social person and im not scared of social situatoins, just that little head shake can be annoying at times and want it to go away. It'll get worse if I'm in a very pressure situation like talking to a proffesor, etc. Any thoughts?

Can I ask a silly question?  If getting black out drunk, which is always dangerous, makes this worse, then why do you continue to do it regularly enough that you notice it happens then?  What else do you do that intensifies disorientation and brain function that you'll think was pretty dumb in a few years?  A way of saying, when you start developing an anxiety disorder, it's time to reevaluate how you treat yourself and your brain.

You need to work on your self esteem and confidence, do interactions with people. Don't hesitate to talk with others, slowly you will build confidence to deal such situations.
