Thank you everyone. I am very proud of myself for not entirely losing it and actually driving in the horrible weather. I've never had the excessive sweating like I did last night but I also haven't been in a truely dangerous situation like I was. The city was totally unprepared for the 9 inches of snow we got and there were hundreds of accidents and crazy traffic snarls due to people abandoning their cars. So in all honesty last night may have been one of the rare occasions that my anxiety was justified.
Sorry you had such a rough day. But you did really go out and battle it despite the anxiety, you were successful. Dont let this bring you down!
Yep, it sure was a case of bad nerves, I do that exact same thing, it is no fun.
well you did answer your own question but doesn't make the symptoms less disturbing. I am amazed and jealous of all you can do, guess its all in perspective, you probably don't think it is so much and i think its the world!! To drive anywhere, not to even consider the snow, would be so awesome to feel like i could do and to go to a bar?? That hardly ever happens anymore. Good for you and I am jealous :) :) have a great eve Erin, Donna
And to answer my own question..I took a xanax and my hot flashes and sweating are gone as well as the nausea. I hate the symptoms of anxiety :/
