It sounds like a bit of both to be honest, it seems that you have the anxiety because you have so much on your plate and are struggling to cope which is only natural considering the stress that you are going through.
When I start to scream and shout during an anxiety episode it is normally the peak of the attack for me, I feel like no one is listening to me or believing how bad it is for me and my fustratation gets the better of me and I can sometimes lose it big time. Complete with throwing things, slapping the walls etc I would like to point out though that I have never actually strke someone and would never do so but I seem to take it out verbally on my loved ones and physically with my house.
Stick with the therapy, it does take time for it to work as to start with you are just raking up all of the problems so that they can identify a clear plan for you.
Are you on any meds? If not then perhaps your doctor could prescribe something for you to help you through this difficult time.
I really am sorry to hear about your situation and I wish you luck for the future

Namaste,
Goodeys5 provides a very good explanation to what may be going on, and I would also ask the question, as to whether you are taking any medication(s)?
And, have you seen a mental healthcare provider and been diagnoised with a specific disorder?
Regardless, we all have are up days and our down days, even if we are in counseling and taking medication. Even, so-called "normal" people have their ups and downs. It's just part of life and try to understand that it'll pass and you'll feel better.
