The question is, how bad is your anxiety? If you're able to function but it's just uncomfortable, then yes. If it's so bad that you can't function, then only therapy and probably medication will help. For a good rundown on the natural treatment of anxiety, read Natural Highs by Hyla Cass, a psychiatrist at UCLA. She covers the possibilities out there pretty well as far as remedies are concerned. And cnote is right, meditation, breathing exercises, cognitive therapy, other talk therapy, acupuncture, heck, try anything you can afford, there's a whole lot of stuff out there in this stressed out nation. Or, just move to another more relaxed country -- we're kind of way up there in these problems.
dont know if it will help u but when u feel really bad try going 4 a nice bath or shower get a oil burner with sum lavender oil going in the room ur going 2 go when u get out lie down and relax read a book or sumthing that u enjoy.
everybody has their own unique ways in dealing with anxiety. sometimes, if its not severe, you can meditate, excersise helps a lot.... see a therapist. Some people who REALLY REALLY struggle need those along with medications at times if its unbearable.
Hope you get to feeling better. Try doing something you enjoy to take your mind off of it.
