Looking for information on living with someone who has been diagnosed as bipolar?

My husband was diagnosed as bipolar about a year ago and I think they finally have his medication figured out.  It was a long hard road for him.   I feel so helpless and unsure what to do for him or how I can help.  Any suggestions would be great.  I don’t know what to do when he gets so low and depressed?  I just try to be there for him but not sure what to do

I'm sorry!  That's so hard to be the spouse or partner of someone who is battling mental health issues.  The great news is that your husband is being treated!  Encourage and urge him to stay with that.  But it is definitely hard on you. I would educate yourself as much as possible on bipolar.  I'd also see if you can be at all involved in his therapy/treatment so you are in the know.  And don't forget about yourself.  You need TLC for YOU too.  hugs
