OMG what a great article. My first hubby and I were alot like that. He dissappeared after the birth of our daughter and when he came back he wanted a divorce.
I tried for about a year to get back together with him then finnally I gave up and joined the Air Force and left town.Best thing I could have done. and it was the best thing he ever did for me was to divorce me. It sure was painfull at  the time. I was so young and bi polar.
