bipolar with somatic features

Hello,

My friend's daughter is bipolar with somatic features (she feels like her head is bleeding) and she is on lithium but it isn't helping. She had a bad reaction to Lamictal and some antidepressants but good results with thorazine. Is there any meds you can recommend, alone or in a coctail?

thanks.
Rosa

Well as stated only a psychiatrist could provide specific medical reccomendations but these websites have a full lists of currently used mood stabilizers:

It should be noted that the atypical antipsychotics (from Risperdal onwards) are unlike Thorazine and the older typical antipsychotics specifically approved for use as mood stabilizers and generally more effective in this regard but as was stated each person responds differently to each medication but this could be discussed as well.

Can't recommend anything in particular, meds work differently for each and every person.
