seasons and manic episodes

Does anyone notice that this time of year you tend to have manic episodes? I wonder if they are seasonal as well. Every year in the fall I get depressed and the spring ,early summer I become manic!

I tend to get hypomanic in the spring and summer as well. I guess the increase in daylight contributes to it. I enjoy it while it lasts :) It helps me get things done!

My psych. has told be that seasons seem to play a part with bipolar phases.  I know that I'm am currently fighting a manic phase.  Two years ago I went through a manic phase that nearly destroyed me.  So to answer your question I'm sure season's play a part with the bipolar disorder.
