A professional will probably be able to help you understand yourself a bit more. Have you expressed your worries to your partner? I feel that communication between you and your partner should be a priority over talking with a doctor, but I understand not everyone will share this idea.
Good luck,
Peace :)

Thanks guys, i will try doing headstands if you think it will help. I do really want to talk with someone too but im afraid of what the outcome might be.
Its very healthy that you have a distaste for alcohol culture.
Do some handstands (if you cant, then learn) The blood flow to your head with increase oxegen levels to your brain, which will simulate your Hypothalmus, (the part of your brain which controls sex drive), among other things.

Also, have a look at this: http://www.salon.com/people/feature/2000/03/23/elephantart/
(Im not sure why, but I feel it could brighten your day).
I hope this helps in some way.
Cheers.

Loss of interest in things can be a symptom of depression but it depends what else is going on. It would be worth speaking to a psychiatrist about though.
