more then Five years after the surgery

hello there,
i would like to share my story with you, and i'm very interested in finding out
if anyone else as the same problems that i have.
i did my surgery in july 2008, after few terrible months of dizziness, and lost of feeling in my right hand.
after the surgry i felt a little better, especially the dizziness, the feeling in my right hand never came back.
since then there were ups and downs, and now my condition get worse.
i can't finish a day without a severe dizziness, that includes a tingling feeling in my head, and my right hand and shoulder doesnt stop hurting.

i would happy to hear, if anyone has a clue what it can by, my doc' tells me that the MRI is good, and that they have nothing nothing to do with it.

I know what you mean.  Just had my 4th ann of surgeries and now I'm having seizures.  I was so happy my husband was home the other night.  He was going to take me in to ER because he was so scared.  I ended up going to my DR.  She thinks it's meds so she changed some the other day so we will see.  Now I can't drive, go down stairs I feel so helpless.  It will get better for us.  Just take time.  Wishing you the best.
Linda :)

hi,
first of all, thanks a lot for your professional response, unfortunately there are almost zero Chiari specialists in my country (israel).
my Dr didn't rule out any of the syndromes you described, so i get lots of data to show him, and ask for is reply.
i did 3-4 MRI post surgery, and didn't do one in recent months.

i'll be more then grateful, to whom that can give me more names and directions. anything that i can dig in to.

thanks!

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

I am so sorry u continue to have issues like this post op...however surgery is not a cure just a means to restore CSF flow and slow progression...it is also possible u have a related condition not known b4 surgery....

Did ur Dr rule out syringomyelia, tethered cord, ICP, POTS, sleep apnea and ehlers-danlos?

Have u had a post op MRI? When was ur last MRI and have u had one since ur symptoms increased?

U may want to go to another Dr that is a true Chiari specialist to get another opinion.
