Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
We do have a list of questions for the NS, u may be able to use them for ur MD as well....they tend to refer to surgical questions and testing for related conditions etc....
Make sure they do a CINE MRI to look for an obstruction to CSF flow, and MRI's of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine to rule out syringomyelia, disk issues, tethered cord, as well as testing for ICP, POTS, and ehlers-danlos and last blood labs to look for low levels of vitamins and minerals and possible auto immune thyroid issues.
Here is a link to the Health Pages, and u notice many other articles with tips and names of Drs etc....

The best thing u can do is educate urself and research Drs that are well experienced with Chiari and related conditions. Know u r not alone : )
