Very minimal herniation

Hello everyone,

So I seem stuck in the same cycle over and over again, wanting to know whats wrong wkth me.

My heniation is very minimal, less than 1mm, at the base of the magnum, checked my whole spine, no syrinx, I dont know if I have good flow or not, and don't want to go to doctors anymore!

I used to get headaches on a daily basis, which lead to my mri.

Now I do get the headackes but less often.

It's weird how I feel my symptoms, because they has to do with my sleep.

If I wake up feeling well, my whole day goes well!

But if I wake up with a headache or still feeling sleepy "even though I had a good night sleep for 7 to 8 hours", my whole day goes unwell amd freeling sleepy the sameway, until I sleep for the next day morning hoping to wake up not feeling still sleepy. The headacke and the sleepiness will last the whole day If I woke up feeling them.

Does that heppen people of chiari, that they feel sleepy nomatter how long they sleep ?

Or that they sometimes wake up with a headacke from the beginning of the morning ?
Thank you.

It is a symptom of Chiari to not feel refreshed with a full nights sleep and to also have nights of no sleep...insomnia is common.

Chiari symptoms cycle so you can feel good for long or short periods of time, feeling like Chiari is not really affecting you...when in fact it still is...just not as severely as it may have been.....just when you relax and feel you are ok it can rear it's ugly head again.....
