One thing I will warn, do not rush ur recovery, u may feel great post op, but most do have a recurring of symptoms as the nerves wake up...it can get depressing and it feels like back sliding...but, with time and patience u will see it is short lived.
I pray all goes well and I will post a prayer thread for u on the 14th for the 15th when u r having surgery...all the best to u.
mmm...outside is lovely....but it is raining right now for me....
I've had a pretty good day as far as eating goes....oatmeal, stuffed peppers, nuts and banana....some fruit salad. I havent even had chocolate yet....which is a miracle in itself.
I was able to exercise today.....at my boxing class....no pain at all! I was thrilled....I almost stayed for an extra class but decided to play it safe. I was sad as I realized that after Tuesday I probably wont be able to go back there for a couple months.... :( I am really really hoping recovery goes fast.
I have been trying to think of post op exercise that I will be able to do pretty quickly after surgery (not immediately, im not that irrational.)
I am sure if I can get him to try it that it may be easier to get him to buy it....it is a yr now that I am trying....and I won't stop...lol....
I love the outside too, and being outside can be diff at times on uneven places....this was always my downfall...and I mean fall...so, I am still a tad cautious with grassy areas , but so love being outside....I also look forward to my DS's pool again this summer...more exercise....yeah.
UGH...here I am weighing in....135...
my norm is 108 at the most. Just cant seem to shake the weight...and I have given up trying until after surgery. I want to be able to exercise and I cannot right now so I am jsut making sure that I am eating healthy. However tonight is pot roast, rice gravy, honey glazed carrots, rosemary potatoes, and homemade bread. I am still doing my sitting exercises though...just so I am getting something. I cannot wait to feel better and be able to do a little waking around the neighborhood...I love out area...it is full of beautiful oak trees and pecan trees and sweet people and children and dogs playing. Horses down the road and a beautiful park that my kids love to walk to. OPh....I can hear it calling my name :)
tell it that it may be a bit pricey, but it expands a lot when it cooks, and is much more filling than things such like rice, so it goes a lot further. :)
Yes I have my DD has it, I have asked my DH to get some....mayb after my next visit to her place I can get her to make it and he will like it and buy some, he said it was pricey,....
I cut back on sugar, and breads and my fav pasta...I am not huge into dairy... yogurt in the AM with grapenuts and freshfruit mixed in....
