Thanks as alway, Selma! I will mention all of this to my GP
The BP drop is what POTS is....do get checked for it.
Sounds like your body is trying to tell you at this point in time you are doing too much!
I do not believe you would have normal CSF if you have constant pressure...something is wrong and I think it would show in the CSF......
Listen to your body and take it easy for a while...at least until you know what is going on.
Thanks...I am enjoying my new bundle...I spent the day with him today....he is growing so fast too !
Hi Selma, congrats on your new little bundle!!
No, I haven't been tested for pots. I don't get dizzy when I stand, however, my blood pressure does seem to drop suddenly and I experience extreme fatigue and fog!
I awaken with pressure on the top of my head. Symptoms of head pressure, neck pain, upper back pain, fatigue and fog, and some arm and legs aches usually follow. I felt chills the other day and just couldn't warm up! All symptoms fluctuate by the hour, it seems, but the fatigue and fog won't quit! I wonder about brainstem compression? Would we have normal csf if we constantly have head pressure?
I try to do the normal chores when I can, go out to shop. I did try getting back on the treadmill a few times last week, doing arm exercises as I walked. Before that, I carried the Christmas tree to the basement myself :s, in three parts of course. I think it was after that, that symptoms may have worsened.
I'll see my GP on Wednesday. More tests to come, I'm sure!
Have you had a tilt table test to rule out POTS?
Do you take B 12? That could help with the fog a little ....
May I ask, what activities do you do on a regular basis?
