chiari malformation one pupil bigger than the other is this normal??

i have been diagnosed with chiari malformation from a ct scan i got after i passed out. since my er visit i have had alot more symptoms come on quickly. i have one pupil larger than the other is this normal or should i seek emergency medical attention??

I have had different sized pupils since I was a child. No one ever thought anything of it at the time. I was dx'd w/chiari 2 years ago and now I know why i had different sized pupils my whole life. I have no had surgery, and i hope I will never have to, so I dont know if the pupils change after surgery or not.

My eye doctor found the same thing and said she was certain it was neurological and probably from CM. I am 7 days post op and have already had improvement in my pupils. The doctor said only time will tell if it will resolve completely. She said it depends on if it was just nerve compression or actual damage to the nerves.

I googled the different size pupils and chiari and ound that it can be caused by chiari.

I am not sure about the pupil itself, but one of my eyes are bigger than the other.
