does this shoe fit my symptoms?

hello, I've suffered greatly. Fainting, dizziness, spasms, contractions, vertigo, muscle fatigue, full body weakness, paralysis, breathing difficulties, bowel function, sensation loss, sleep deprivation, constant ringing in ears, constant nape of neck to front of head pain, vision decrease, it seems like everything under the sun! I've been hospitalised but no answers. I went to an educational facility for a neurologist she is clueless. I'm getting worse, I do have some decent days but then out of nowhere I can't walk or do much of anything then I remembered I had a chiari on my scan small just a 2 but it was laying down. Do you think I should get a standing MRI? I heard gravity can play a part in an accurate scan. BTW nobody told me about the chiari... I guess it wasn't significant enough for them.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

First, how long ago was the MRI that showed the Chiari and do you have a copy?

Next if it was 6 months ago or longer ...have your symptoms changed since then? If so,  what has changed?

You will want a true Chiari specialist not only to determine if indeed you have Chiari but to also rule out ALL related conditions as well. There are unrelated conditions that should be ruled out too.

Chiari is not the herniation which many Drs look at to classify Chiari and then to minimalize it with words like mild Chiari....you either have it or not....how it affects you and your health should determine how minimal it is ....this is what really upsets me about Drs,,especially those that are not well experienced with it....they guess instead of researching

Educate yourself, then research Drs so you will know when you have the right Dr for you and having the right Dr is key !

If you need a list of Drs to research let me know....we do have lists...but unfortunately there are more of us then them....so you may have to travel.

Just know you are not alone..

Your symptoms do fit what most of us deal with symptom wise.
