This is more a tip than question.  My neck and incision were swollen in the hospital.  They offered to get me ice...usually I hate ice on anything but it really helped!  The only problem was the lumpy ice hurt so i had to empty some out.  When I was released I asked my Mom to get me ice packs from walgreens like we had as kids at school.  They don't freeze...stay squishy like a gel.  They have been perfect! I have posted daily pics so I can see how my head is healing...even if you don't like ice you might give it a try.

Ice was the one thing that helped me the most! I used them as at least 3 times a day! Keep healing happy for you.
