My birthday was on the 2nd as well. Happy bday. Was the pain just as bad prior to surgery?

Oh Ok....so no lifting and you continued to have debilitating pain...

Didn't they offer you a walker?...I was told to use one....

What pain meds are you on?

Is your Dr aware of how badly you are feeling? This could indicate- not taking meds on a regular schedule,, or a CSF leak.

BTW- Happy Belated Birthday....mine was on the 3rd....

My son was 1 when I had my surgery and I wasn't lifting him because I wasn't even able to get out of bed. I was crawling to the rest room. I couldn't lift my head because the pain was so bad.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

I am confused as to when you had your son and then had surgery.....was he only a few months old when you had it?

Are you lifting him and carrying him around?

Sometimes what we do post op can affect our recovery....and doing too much can slow the process..
What does your NS feel is going on?
