Triplets w/ ADHD/ADD, Problems with Stealing/Consequences

I have 9 year old triplets. Two of them have been diagnosed with ADHD (older 2) and one ADD (youngest). All of them have had various behavior issues, but the main continous problem is stealing and it has been going on for about 3 years on and off. The past 6 months it has gotten horrible. The middle child, I'm happy to say, does not do it anymore, however the other 2 continue to steal. It ranges from little things (toys) to major things (money).

I have tried all sorts of discipline... ranging from taking all of their toys away, spanking, grounding, to lenthy grounding. I know they understand it is wrong and it is something that is not tolerated, however they still do it. They think they won't get caught and once they do, the consequences do not affect them. They are not taking it seriously. I need to find a discipline that will affect them and a way to get them to stop. I am at my wits end and need suggestions.

There is no magic cure to this. Your only option, really, is to employ a systematic (i.e., it does not vary one iota from episode to episode) behavior management plan. You'll see what I am referring to in Lynn Clark's book SOS Help for Parents. Apply the techniques exactly as Lynn Clark advises.
