child banging his head

my 2 yr old bangs his head in his sleep, even when sleeping on the floor if he fall's asleep.                                                                    so do i need to worry about this or will he grow out of this?

There's no need to worry about this if your son is progressing well in his development. As your son develops, you'll want to be sure your pediatrician assesses his development in the various spheres (physical, cognitive, social, emotional). Head banging is sometimes associated with types of developmental disorders, but can also occur in children who are developing in a normal fashion.
