potty training regression

i have a student who has been potty trained for nearly a year and has been quite successfull at it. my concern lies with the fact that some days he shows up to school wearing a diaper or pull-up. when he is wearing these that is when he has an accicent. Is he regressing everytime he wears a diaper or pull-up now that he is potty trained.

Not necessarily, but it can contribute to failure to solidify mastery of this developmental task. Once training has been achieved, it is better to eliminate the pull-ups.
