Neck Strain and Weird Symtoms(symptoms) Afterwards

Hi

2 weeks ago i was walking around the house when all of a sudden i heard a crack sound in my head which felt like someone pulled the muscles from my ear. After that i started having a severe neck pain and i went to a walkin-in clinic and he told me its probably a neck strain. The day after that i started getting flu like symptoms. I wasn't able to eat, drink, i felt nausea, tired, weak and lightheaded which made me get anxiety attacks thinking this might be a brain tumor. Now it's almost 2 weeks after that and my symptoms are disappearing but something weird is still happening. When i sleep at night and wake up i feel pain in my neck and throughout the day i also get the feeling like my neck vibrates a crack kind of sound inside my head. I feel something is not right with my neck. I dont know how to describe this but it happens to me like 20 times a day, it kind of feels like the neck muscles twitches and causes a vibrations in my head and im not sure if i should visit a chiropractor. Like can all of this be caused be some vein not being in proper place? I also get a headache every single day when i wake up which disappears less then 30 minutes after i wake up. Should i see a chiropractor or a neurologist? i mean this doesnt sound like a brain tumor because i don't vomit or get seizures. I dont really dont know wut to think. I kind of feel like my vision is not the same as before but im not sure if thats due to anxiety or there is really something wrong with my vision too.

Thank U

The most responsible thing for you to do would be to consult with a neurologist about these symptoms first. He may schedule an MRI to look at the soft tissues in your neck or an MRA to evaluate the vessels.

Assuming he tells you nothing's wrong, then go consult with what's called an Upper Cervical chiropractor. It's a specialist within the chiropractic field that has a lot of experience with unique symptoms of this nature.

Make sure you're not manipulating your own neck. A lot of teenagers do that because it makes them feel good, but it's not a smart thing to do, especially in this circumstance.

Do me a favor and keep me posted on your progress.

Warm wishes,
