pain in the left front area near the groin

I HAVE BEEN HAVING CONSTANT PAIN ON THE LEFT SIDE NEAR MY GROIN AREA. WHAT COULD THAT MEAN?

I presume you are a woman, ruling out testicular torsion...

a disc herniation at a low level can cause pain in the groin;  so can a kidney stone, endometriosis, maybe even diverticulitis. An inguinal hernia is probably a more common source of pain in that area, particularly if there is a 'bulge'.  If it is more superficial you could have an infected cyst in the skin, or an infection of the skin itself, called cellulitis... just a few ideas...
