What is the life expectancy of an 80 year old female who was diagnosed with severe congestive heart failure 1/20/2010 and has been readmitted to the hospital with severe cough and chest pains 3/27/2010?
How are you? If the severe cough and chest pains are treated, the outlook depends on many different factors such as the severity of the heart problem, the cause, how well she respond to treatment, and the presence of co-morbid conditions such as hypertension, diabetes or asthma. talk to your doctor about this and discuss the factors I have mentioned in relation to the patient's prognosis. Take care and do keep us posted.
