Dogmatil Sulpride

Dogmatil Sulpride

I wrote a few weeks back regarding my wife's condition. Miraculously she agreed to seek help. After taking the medication, her symptoms (hallucination, voices etc etc) almost disappeared.

However, I am curious about the medication that the doctor precribe to her. Its called Dogmatil Sulpride. Is it safe? I can't find any reference to it on the net.

Thanks again,

Danny

I am glad that your wife sought psychiatric help and her condition is improving. Sulpiride (Dogmatil) is an antipsychotic medication available in some countries outside the United States, but not approved for use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Sulpiride may have sedative and extrapyramidal side effects (EPS). EPS includes tremors, muscular rigidity and/or spasms, decrease in spontaneous facial expression/gestures/speech/body movements, and subjective feelings of restlessness. Please discuss your concerns further with your wife's treating psychiatrist.
