Organic Perception Disorder

I was diagnosed with Organic Perception Disorder about 8 months ago and I want to know what it is, what causes it, and how to get rid of it?  For treatment I have been taking Zyprexa and Tegretol.

Michael,

I am not familiar with the term "Organic Perception Disorder", which is not in any current psychiatric diagnostic manual. Zyprexa is an antipsychotic that is used to treat hallucinations (seeing, hearing, smelling, or tasting things that are not reality-based) and delusions (false beliefs that cannot be corrected by reasoning). Tegretol is an anticonvulsant that is used as a mood-stabilizer in bipolar disorder, aand sometimes to treat uncontrollable aggression. Please address your concerns further with your treating physician/psychiatrist.
