long term use of effexor, just prescribed wellbutrin

I have been taking effexor xr for about 8 years now-112.5 mg/day for OCD/depression.  My psychiatrist recommended that I start taking 100mg wellbutrin ER 1 x per day in the morning, because I have no sex drive and it's very difficult to orgasm.  I am very scared of side effects of wellbutrin, especially people reporting hallucinations (ive never had any, but don't want to start now!!)  If I start using this and it works, will I be susceptible to side effects down the road?  I think I'm probably a "lifer" on the effexor, since it works so well for me.  Just wish I could have sex--this it putting a big damper on my marriage.  Should I risk starting this drug?

Wellbutrin is considered to be a very safe medication and the side effects are almost always minimal and if severe, are reversible.  It is a good combination of medication to try.
