Erythema multiforme

At around this time last year i had a bad reaction to Duromine which was diagnosed as Erythema Multiforme. I had tests done and simultaneously found out i was HIV +. I have been having regular check ups and my CD4 count is above 500. i was given treatment for the disorder (cotisone - pills and cream) and the rash very quickly disappeared. However i have a lot of dark spots all over my lower limbs. From what i have read, it is possible that the multiforme can reappear - i do see new spots every now and again - they kind of look like red swollen "boils" which disappear on their own.

I am really distraught as i am unable to comfortably show my legs in public - i have been given creams fo rpigmentation and other creams as well but the scarring is fading VERY VERY SLOWLY. i have also been told i may need laser treatment- dont know what to believe anymore...the scars are not THAT bad but they are visible! PLEASE HELP

These bumps under the skin on legs can be due to eryhthema multiforme. For the hyperpigmentation, you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
