about a year ago. i don't know what it would have been caused by. i would try so hard not to itch it, but when i wasn't even thinking about it i would start itching
-to-foot area, and can't seem to make it go away. i also have 2 50 cent piece sized rashes on my inner calves. i tried some anti-itch roll on stuff, but it just wasn't successful. i think i might have a small rash on my pointer finger
of my right hand. i'm right handed so i believe maybe the rash transferred to the hand because i itch with that hand. what is best to make rashes go away??? what do you think would have caused it?
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be lichen simplex chronicus. Lichen Simplex Chronicus is seen in people with eczema.
It is treated like chronic eczema by decreasing water and soap contact, and applying emollients. Topical steroids are almost always needed to control the symptoms. You can use mild steroid cream like Dermacort and if the symptoms persist then high potency steroids and oral steroids may be needed.
My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist to get the diagnosis confirmed. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
