Rough Dark Patches on Toes

Rough Dark Patches on Toes

Recently I have gotten dark marks on my left toes.  They appear to have come out of nowhere, and they are only on my left foot, not on my right foot.  These dark marks are on my three biggest toes on my left foot.  There is no pain, but the dark marks are rougher and dryer than the rest of the skin on my toes.  I have tried using a pumice stone and exfoliating everyday but nothing has changed.  What should I do?

Hello,
It is very difficult confirming a diagnosis without examination but it can be joint friction pad, hyperpigmented skin or due to corn on the toes. please apply lots of moisturising lotion and vit E on the skin. Place protective covering or bandages over the area to decrease friction on the skin until the area heals. Also soak feet in warm soapy water and apply some moisturizer.

If still the symptoms persist, then please get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
