flesh growths on the head of a penis

My boyfriend has developed a rash on the head of his penis. I was shocked to see about 50 if not more, very small (smaller than the head of a pin) flesh colored growths on him. He says there is no itching or noticable irritation but it is very worrisome.
These flesh growths have now been there for more than a year. But when they first apeared I had vaginal candida and we had sexual contact. We were both treated by diflucan and my candida was treated but the flesh growths on my boyfriend penis have not disappeared.

With a previous history of exposure to candidal infection, these growths may suggest a condition called balanitis.Balanitis usually involves the head of the penis and is usually caused by a yeast or fungal infection.Also, bacterial infections may also lead to balanitis.
What is striking in your friend's case is the color of the papules which appears to be skin colored as posted.A differential for this is genital warts .This is just a differential. Genital warts may be relatively asymptomatic. However, they are contagious and may spread to other parts of the body.
Your boyfriend may need to have this assessed so that proper medications be given.Refrain from any sexual activity at this point until these growths have been properly assessed.
