pityriasis alba help please :D

I'm 29 year old male african american.  Ive had  pityriasis alba it seems to never want to go away.... it shows up bad during the summer time. does anyone know how to cure?

There is no definite treatment for pityriasis alba.When were you first diagnosed with this?In most cases, the condition may resolve on its own. The best way to help control this will be to use sunscreens and moisturizers on the area. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or changes in weather as this may cause the skin to dry and aggravate the condition.

If your case has been persistent for a long time, then I suggest you discuss with your physician the advantages of corticosteroid and UV therapy for pityriasis alba.
