hey, i have had red cheeks for about 5 years now, and it seems like it is getting worse, I have tried a roseaca cream, and it doesnt seem to be working, also sometimes when i get embarassed my cheeks, noseNose fracture and upperforehead get really red, is ther anything that i can do to help it, i heard that maybe donating blood will get rid of the problem, is that true?
For how long have you experienced this condition?
Do you have any history of allergies?
Is there any known trigger like heat, direct sun exposure, certain food and medications?
Rosacea is only one of the differentials. Other considerations here will be heat rash or miliaria and a photosensitivity reaction. If you experience the redness when exposed to the sun ,this may be a case of photosensitivity. This may need to be further assessed as photosensitivity may herald some underlying systemic disease. Miliaria or heat rash may be of different types. There are more localized types that topical medications may be able resolve.
