A Doggy Disorder?

A Doggy Disorder?

Four months ago my family bought a purebreed American Cocker Spaniel puppy we named Dewey. Soon after we brought him home he started barking at objects around the house. We figured this was just because this was all new to him. But now, months later, he still continues. Whenever something is placed in a different spot he will go balistic, even if it is just a coat lying on the sofa or a school bag on the floor. He even starts wildly barking if the cars are in different spots of the driveway. At six months I want to figure out a way to get him to spot but I'm not sure if it could be some mental disorder.
Can anyone help?

Hi there love the name you called him! I have 2 dogs myself and with one of my dogs she starting really barking at us when we had nearky finished our dinner almost demanding for us to give her some before we finished! The only thing I can think if is that he has a severe dislike to change!!!! Did you get him from a breeder or from spca etc.... The only thing I cant think of doing is distracting him when he does it, with his favourite toy and a little playtime or calling him into another room. I hope this helps a little bit. If you did get him from a breeder I would maybe give them a call and just ask if there was something that happenned when he was a pup that has scared him. Good luck with your little guy!!!
