Aging Dog Back Legs Shaking
Hello,
I have an 11 year old giant schnauzer mix (she is not as tall as a giant schnauzer but really looks line one). She has always been very healthy, she is not over weight but has never really exercised regularly. For the last few months, her back legs have been shaking whenever she is standing but she still runs, goes up and down the stairs just not as often as she used to. It mostly doesn't seem to hurt but at times she has let out a cry if we touch her rear. She now lives with my parents that seem reluctant to bring her to the vet.
What could be the problem?
thank you,

Sounds like an issue of the spine. She really need a vet. Perhaps she twisted her back etc. Our mini schnauzer has back issues and takes medication.
