My 4year old boxer had his first seizure yesterday. He has been exhusted which I hear is normal. It's 4am the next day and his breathing is labored and he still seems to be recovering, not in pain, but far from normal...Any advice?
Wow, that sounds like a really major seizure. It's true it can take several hours for the dog to resume normal activity, but it appears your boxer is taking longer than usual. He may still be having small "after shock" seizures. Get him to the vet - he needs medications to get this seizure storm under control.
