Dog nails turning extremely white. HELP!
When I first got my puppy a week ago (he is a boston terrier, currently 9 weeks old). His nails looked normal with the quickening being pink, and the end of the nail being clear. Several days ago, I noticed that most of his nails started turning bone white. I just took him to the vet less than a week ago, and I do not remember his nails being that color (especially since he just got them trimmed by the vet). I do not know if this is normal or should I inquire the vet about this. I am just worried about my dog, and annoyed that this showed up a day after he went to the vet.

Oh gosh! I'm not sure what could cause this. Could it be vitiligo, I wonder? Or a fungal infection? I really am unsure. Have you asked the vet about it?
